But I also found that I didn't like the co-sleeping aspect of the bassinet -- it was awkward with our bedroom set-up and I actually preferred to do night nursing in the rocking chair instead of in bed, so we ultimately moved the bassinet/pack n' play to the end of the bed anyway.

Anyway, you don't really know what you are going to need, so I'd maybe get a hand-me-down bassinet from friends or family if you can and then expect to experiment a little bit. I know people rave about the Halo but based on my experience, that would have been a waste of money for us.[/quote]
