Massage stomach (and body) with warm olive or almond oil, keep the baby warm and cycle their legs before a bath. Pureed prunes in their meals. Making them sit in a squatting position before baths will make them poop. Your baby is constipated and in warm water they relax. This is not permanent. Eventually this will stop. What are you bathing them in? I would suggest maybe giving them a bath in a plastic tub that you keep in your regular bath tub. That way you don't need to empty out the whole tub when they poop.
That’s good advice. The squatting was something I did when she was younger but didn’t work as well after introducing solids. I expect I need to spend a little more time on it. And we just use the big bath. It’s a small bathroom and we found it too annoying to use the small bath with her older sibling time to revisit that! Thank you.
