LOL, I do exactly the reverse. I buy parts from a dealer to make sure it is genuine OEM and have them installed by an independent shop. The shop of course does not take responsibility for the quality of the part. They will usually do this if I show them the receipt that I bought the parts from a dealer. Not always, some will.
the house marks them up. I need front and rear brake pads. Honda Autonation in Dulles asked 175 for front and 150 for rear. Bought them online at Honda genuine dealer and it cost me less than 120 for both sets. I think you’re getting goofed
Soooo you bought the brake pads from a dealer, which is exactly what I said... Why do you call a dealer the "house". Do you gamble a lot?
Take hondapartsnow.com for example. Genuine stuff. But extremely cheaper. Now go to the actual dealer and getting ready to bend over.
You are so dense. Who do you think are behind these websites? Take for example hondapartsconnection.com, which has similar prices to the site you posted. In their FAQ, they indicate they are part of a Honda dealer: https://www.hondapartsconnection.com/faq If you take a look at the information for hondapartsnow.com, they are affiliated with a company called Genuine Parts Giant, LLC. And if you go to the website for Genuine Parts Giant, they provide online sales platforms to New Car Dealers: http://www.genuinepartsgiant.com/about-us.html So the parts you purchased from hondapartsnow.com, is from a Honda Dealer. Exactly as I said.
I guess you’re denser. Hondapartsnow sells cheaper than the shop in Dulles. You pay marked up for stuff when you can get it for 50% off? Maybe denser is being generous with your thinking skillz
Why would I buy from Honda Dealer in Dulles when I can buy from a Honda Dealer online for less? Both are Honda Dealers. I can't believe I have to point this out to you multiple times.
