... 7:30pm playing/tug of war/fetching a ball in the house/hanging out with him while he chews on something. usually about 45 minutes 8:30pm he chews on his own or naps 10:00pm bedtime If I were working outside the house, I'd extend the early morning walk to help him get more energy out before leaving him. I'd have a dogwalker at noon. I also send him to doggie day care a couple of times a week where he gets tons of exercise.

... 8-9 Plays 9-11 Relaxes, snoozes on couch 11 p.m. Crate for the night We are really hoping this schedule will translate fairly well when we need to go back to the office. For now, crate is separate from us in hopes that she won't develop separation anxiety when we're actually out of the house.
It makes me relieved to read both your puppies nap/relax so close to bedtime. I've been giving mine dinner around 7pm and trying to stretch bedtime till 9pm but around 8pm she get so sleepy and I find myself fighting to keep her up so she won't ruin her overnight sleep. I've been operating thinking I need to exhaust her before bed. Last night I just gave him and put her to bed when she was tired at 8:30pm and I was paying for it at 6am.
