NCRC! It is a wonderful play based program, convenient to the red line metro if it matters, not affiliated to any religious group. The twos class is part time and they have been doing a good job with managing to stay open during the pandemic. Their playground is amazing too.
This looks great! Is it hard to get into? —NP
Insanely hard to get into, PP. The oldest continuously running preschool in America. Outstanding facilities and teaching staff. Truly superior and lives up to its reputation. But you know what, can’t hurt to apply. Go for it. If your DC gets in, it’s worth it.
I wouldn't say it's insanely hard to get in to any more. Highly sought after, yes. But private preschools are having a tough time competing with free preschool in DC. The twos class (I'm talking 2-2.5 yo) tends to be a lot of siblings as it's very small, but at the 2.5-3yo age you have a very good chance of landing a spot at least in the PM class.
