Hi there! New to this forum and I wasn't sure where to post this. I'm 37, newlywed and hubby and I have been TTC since we got married in September 2020. At the very same time, I started to spot every month immediately after ovulation until my next period. This happened to me about a year ago for 6 months then the mid-cycle spotting stopped and back again this time. I have 3 tiny (under 3cm) subserosal fibroids and had received a PCOS diagnosis about 5 years ago though my current sugar level, weight and periods are within range. my last bloodwork was great and transvag ultrasound didn't show anything else but the fibroids. My current OBGYN thinks I need to see a RE to check on the mid-cycle spotting, especially since it seems to happen immediately after ovulation (I've been charting for the past since September and can confirm ovulation) I needed to hear from others with similar experiences based on 3 questions: (1) success pregnancy stories of those with similar spotting situation. (2) Hubby and I have a great sex life outside of the 2 weeks after ovulation when I spot. Sex (intercourse) gets messy/bloody and I'm afraid it may interfere with implantation so I prefer no sex 2 weeks of the month :( . Any tips to overcome this and continue a somewhat normal sex life the last 2 weeks of cycle? (3) Any recommendation for a good OBGYN in Nova that specializes in RE? I'm not ready to see Shady Grove or other fertility specialists, plus my insurance won't probably cover unless we've TTC for at least 6 months. I found Dr. William Garcia in Tysons and considering giving him a try. His website states he can assist with treatment and evaluation for common infertility causes (PCOS, fibroids, etc). Anyone experienced with his care for fertility issues? Thanks!
