Me too. A very haunting story. I feel that there must have been foul play -- I am thinking that someone used chloroform or something to knock her out.  It is logical to winder whether the ex was involved. The article seems to have left out a lot of details -- what was the relationship with the ex like? Was she dating anyone here? What has the investigation into the ex yielded thus far? What is the relationship now between the grandmother and the ex -- does she think he was involved? It seems like they left those things out on purpose, maybe because the police are building their case against him.[/quote]
