I'm the PP at 10:09.  When I wrote, "We just got a Switch for our family," what I should have written is, "my family gave me a Switch for my 46th birthday last month".  No judgment![/quote]

Haha! I’m glad I’m not the only one! DD is only 4, so she’s young for video games. DH has been having a lot of fun playing Zelda — especially the older versions you can download. It was his favorite game as a kid.

As for me, I really love all things Mario. The Mario Kart version for Switch is really cool. Then for my birthday, DH got me this pack of 3 older Mario games. I was an N64 kid, so playing Mario 64 has been awesome. I finally have the chance to beat that game, lol!

While we understand that excessive screen time isn’t great, we’re really not that concerned about video games. I think between the two of us, we must have literally thousands of hours of video game playing under our belts, and I think we turned out just fine. Not too concerned about getting DD a video game system when she gets older. [/quote]
