Looks to me that the Fox News take-away is that Santorum said Reid is not a good and decent person and the National Review takeaway is that Santorum thinks Reid wants different things for the country than he does.  Since the Review version appears to be the full quote, I give it more credibility, which I am happy to see because it gives (liberal) me a much less disturbing image of Santorum speaking of a former colleague.  Is Fox just fanning the flames of divisiveness, or should I chalk it up to careless editing (as one version of an old saying goes "Never blame conspiracy when incompetence will do.")?[/quote]
