So you have to ask yourself how you will feel about the association when it comes up, how you will respond, and how you will recommend your daughter responds. If you are comfortable with it, go for it! If not, find a name without such strong cultural associations.[/quote]

I liked Miranda also, but we didn’t use it because of its association with “Miranda warnings.”
