And can I say how overall boring, annoying, and pedantic this episode was? I have a high tolerance for Grey's overwrought emotionalism and smugness, but geesh, this was bad. It's like they were trying to be self-righteous PSA about mitigation measures.

To make it worse, the actual crisis detail that much of the public doesn't seem to get right now is the shortage of healthcare workers that can treat Covid patients, which this episode completely misrepresented. Doctors of varying specialties are not interchangeable. General surgeons and plastic surgeons cannot manage a floor full Covid patients on vents. If the show wants to inform the public, show someone with melanoma who can't get surgery because it's not technically life threatening enough to use up hospital resources.
