I definitely meant negligent. To plan a season of sports and not have a backup plan or clause during covid ( after the spring fiasco for everyone) is completely negligent.

So zoom Futsal?  You are an idiot.  In March/April, my Club (and every club in the dmv) had no back up plans because nobody was allowed to practice.  Most Clubs (almost all) don’t even have Futsal league. [/quote]

OK, but the expectations are higher given (1) the high probability there would be no indoor sports this winter, months ago, and (2) the fact that futsal is a big program at Alexandria (not the league itself, but top teams at Alexandria playing in regional and national tournaments, with some success).  At the very least, I would assume their ID teams would continue practicing in the winter, and no, I don't mean Zoom futsal.  There has been plenty of ink spilled on this in other threads.  There are a number of outdoor futsal courts in Alexandria.  I don't think the absence of a league would be negligent, but the absence of backup plans in light of all that would be surprising to those of us involved with this program.[/quote]

It's Covid-19, dude.  We are all going to be suffering disappointments until this thing blows by...and it's going to get worse in coming months.  My children seem to be handling the disappointments better than you.  Learn resiliency.  I get you are disappointed, my kids love Futsal even more than outdoor soccer--but they watch and read the news and see what is going on at their schools and basketball league and were prepared for this.  BTW, the basketball league was cancelled by the County. No basketball back-up plan.[/quote]
