Dad of twins. One of the best gifts was that of time. Having someone else there to hold the second cranky baby so that one parents could escape to the bathroom by themself was so fantastic. However: Gift certificates to diapers.com Delivered meals I never seen a twin memory book but also remember that inthe end they are individuals and might like a copy each of their babyhood.
Another Dad of twins (4 weeks old) here. I second the gifts of time and delivered meals. As the cook and primary housekeeper in the household, the one thing that I was short of was time to do everything that I was used to doing. My mom was visiting for a week and just having her do the twins laundry daily and then help me keep the house clean was a godsend. My best friend filled our freezer with 30 meals worth of food for us and separated things into 2-person portions so that when we didn't have time, we could just pop something in the microwave. Just in case, here is my list from another thread of the most important things for us over the last two weeks (the boys spent 2 weeks in the NICU, but have been home for 2 weeks): http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/192723.page#1841450
