There is almost zero accountability from the other councilmembers. When Trayon was making crazy anti-Semitic statements - Brandon Todd who represents, in part, heavily Jewish neighborhoods couldn't be bothered to put his sandwich down. Silverman (Jewish), Nadeau (Jewish) and Phil Mendelson (half-Jewish) thought Trayon a UMD grad just needed to be "educated" so they arranged a trip to the Holocaust museum - which Trayon bailed on. So we need to drown out his craziness with saner voices. And there are a lot of Hispanics living in DC. They deserve visible representation.[/quote]
