We’re moving to a new house and will finally have a playroom! I can’t tell you how excited I am, haha! What should I keep in mind when setting it up? What have you done that worked well/didn’t work well. What would you do differently if you could do it all over again? Thanks!!
Congrats, how exciting! We love our playroom too. For us, the main thing is easy clean up, open flow, and an arrangement that makes sense for play. We use the Ikea Trofast storage system to organize legos, dolls, figurines, instruments, etc and have a dollhouse on its surface. We have our room set up in centers, kind of like a preschool. Table and chairs next to the kitchen, cars/trucks next to vehicle mat, puzzles and blocks next to hard floor, book shelf near seating area.
