We are sending a kid to day care because we can't keep up with work and this is no longer a short term thing our employers are giving lots of leeway for. That means LESS seeing anyone we actually want to see, like the grandparents, because we would be introducing too much risk. We're not "ok with day care" because we're careless, we are because the alternative is one of us leaving the workforce. That's a pretty huge deal. [/quote]
