I know how draining it can be — even when it’s work that you enjoy. While talking about change in DC is interesting, my guess is that working for 15 years as a paramedic in many places would be draining. I’m all for positive change in DC, But I also doubt that the changes in DC would radically change what it’s like to have a crisis-focused job. [/quote]
