[/quote] Not OP but while I agree the oven is much less messy it takes a lot longer than the stove! But cooking bacon is kind of the pits, it's always so oily and smells up the house. I recently bought a pack of frozen, pre-cooked bacon for the first time and it was SO worth it. Of course I realize this doesn't help with pancakes, etc. which you also asked about, OP. I have an induction stove too and it can be frustrating that so many pans won't work on it. Maybe just buy an electric griddle? Several of my friends have one of those and they all seem to love them.[/quote]
