I have no idea what’s going to happen with middle and high school, but they should just bring every k-3 or even k-5 back that wants to with a distance learning option. Hybrid to maintain social distancing is stupid. The kids are wearing masks and will be sitting in a room all day with the other kids — why does it matter if they are 4 feet or 6 feet? Preschoolers are all over each other and the data shows those kids aren’t infecting each other or their teachers. Mask up and get back to school. Open the windows if there are some and/or turn on the overhead fans. Sure, throw some hand sanitizer stations in there.
I've given up on this and had resigned myself to hybrid. My kid could learn a WHOLE lot in 2 days in a 10 student classroom, but now we won't even get that. DL for a whole year whether or not we get a cares classroom and whether or not we'd take it. I am in despair here. DL is a DISASTER for mine.
