At that point, he said that their hiring process generally takes 4-6 weeks, that they were still early in the process (he had only spoke to 2 or so candidates) and that it wouldn’t be a problem if we can’t schedule the next interview until late this week. I followed up with a thank you note, saying that I looked forward to the next steps - but I’ve heard nothing. I am assuming that this means they are not interested- but it is a bit strange because he was very clear/specific about next steps during the initial phone call. He didn’t say - this is what will happen, [u]if you advance to the next stage. Should I follow up again and if so, what should I say? Thanks for any insight or advice! [/quote]
