Children under 6 should not be on trampolines. Research first.
For the love of pete. Do you even take a moment to think about what your reaction is or do you just go for it? OP is talking about the small, 12-inch off the ground tramps that are designed for little kids.
DP but OP is talking about a 4.5' trampoline with a net around it, and specifically for 2 kids to jump together. That's 1) a physically huge thing to give someone ("Here's a present, hope you have an extra room to dedicate to its use"), 2) dangerous (kids are not supposed to jump on trampolines more than one at a time), and 3) still dangerous for little kids even if they're designed for them. Trampolines are bad for kids' bones. They're not bad for their bones if they're high in the air, and the danger is not that the kid will fall off of a high object. It's the trampoline in the first place that's the danger. I normally think "do some research" is a reductive and unhelpful thing to say in an online forum but seriously, there are so many times it comes up that trampolines are dangerous and people think the danger is mitigated by a net or a low height, that it's clear the actual danger posed by trampolines is not understood.
