DC:  But the fridge; how about that?  That's worked in the past

AC: I think...I think probably neither the fridge nor the freezer is going to be good for your computer...I think you should not put it in either the fridge or the freezer.

This went on for a while.  Putting my incredibility and fury aside, I was thinking, wow, this Apple Care lady has been really careful to not make my idiot DC feel like an idiot.  And this phone conversation will probably end up in some training session for how to handle moronic customers with grace
