My kids absolutely love popcorn. We have a popcorn maker and they love seeing the kernels pop and spill into the bowl. After they each a paper bag that they decorate (like the kind used for school lunches) I put in their popcorn and melted butter, they shake it up and add their preffered flavor. They love sprinkling Parmesan cheese or salt in their bags and closing it to shake it all up. We also have sweet popcorn with sprinkles. Snickerdoodle popcorn (butter and cinnamon sugar) is also a hit.
Do you remember where you bought the popcorn maker? Would love to buy one!
https://www.target.com/p/cuisinart-easypop-hot-air-popcorn-maker-cpm100mr/-/A-51251798#lnk=sametab We have this one, but any of them would work. We like to bake too, but the popcorn is nice because it’s so fast and they get super excited about every step. And yes, PP is right that it’s a chocking hazard — my kids are 3 and 5 so it’s not as a big a deal for us AND I am very careful about not letting any unpopped kernels get in their bags.
THE chocking hazard isn’t the unopposed kernels, it’s actual popcorn as it’s easy for three-year-olds to aspirate.
