My daughter works part time in a day care. Some knucklehead parent sent kid to school yesterday with a fever and cough. He failed temp check. Parents have to pick up kids. The sick kid needs to pass Covid test to come back. School is shut down two days. My daughter at part time is losing two days pay. Maybe whole test of week pay. All other parents now have day care issues. Don’t send your kid to daycare sick!
What state?? In Maryland temperatures have to be taken OUTSIDE and the parents have to answer a COID questionnaire. This is a major failing on the daycare. The child would’ve never been allowed in because he would’ve failed the health screening outside. This also needs to be reported to the health department and licensing department. If the daycare continues to collect tuition from their kids then your daughter still should be paid. I would be livid if I was a parent in that daycare.
