This happened to my children and I. I figured there was no point of a test tbh. We didn’t need medical care so we just self isolated for two weeks after our symptoms went away. All together it was like 3.5 weeks. It’s probably a cold, possibly even covid. But for me, since we didn’t require medical care, it wasn’t worth taking my sick kid out of the house for a test. 100.4 is a totally acceptable fever for a toddler and I probably wouldn’t even give any medicine to reduce it unless they were completely miserable.
