I can totally see my kid being disappointed on Christmas morning when she realizes she only has a few presents to open under the tree b/c the daily Advent gifts were supposed to be her cumulative Christmas present. My teen is emotional and dramatic anyway, that I can see her not liking this deal especially if she didn't realize it until Christmas morning.

Did you tell your kid before-hand that in lieu of more presents on Christmas morning you got the last 24 days of daily mini presents ? Just be upfront so no disappointment later on?[/quote]

Usually the older the kids get, the “stuff” they get on Christmas.

Truly, if people are showering their kids with lots of stuff, it’s better to scale back.  We don’t need most of the stuff.
