It's a reasonable question. OP I agree with PPs who've said she might as well be a new nanny given how young your child is and how long she'd been away, and also that the issue may partly be you're home and your toddler knows it. Those are issues that will resolve over time (unless something really is substantively wrong and IMO it is too early to determine that yet, lacking any direct evidence). Adjustments are hard.
