I buy them because I like the idea of the ceramic coating but I know that the pans are basically disposable. You can extend the life of them somewhat by never using cooking spray and using low heat only but the pans will still lose their nonstick properties within a year. I’ve never had one where the coating actually came off though. [/quote]
