From what I can see the "non- abstinence-only" content is added in 8th grade, and it looks like there's a single cursory bullet point re: "discuss how contraception works". If this is a four-day unit, you'd basically fit in five minutes. It just seems like everything should slide left about 2-3 years. I attended MCPS middle-school in the early 80s and it boggles the mind that things were the same or better in what seems like a century ago.[/quote]
