She came in when students were writing, I had low music playing so students didn’t think they’d been disconnected (in response to feedback that had been given the week before), and the IC told me it sounded like being on hold at the doctor’s office and I should be encouraging students and checking in with them as they wrote. I would find that distracting if I were trying to concentrate, but I guess they’ve gotten feedback from parents that the classes aren’t interactive the whole time we’re on. They were only writing for 3 minutes, and I didn’t want to chatter the whole time. [/quote]
