But, for people with kids and regular schedules, who care more about having a yard than about being able to go to a play on a Wednesday evening, living in a nice, affordable suburb makes a lot of sense, even when Covid goes away. I think the real reason for families to live in NYC proper is discomfort with driving. But it sounds as if that's not an issue for the OP. So, the OP should do what feels good and look into staying in the burb.[/quote]
