I guess I should add none of our guns were recent purchases, and our kids have never shot a gun. If my kids wanted to when they was older and went through the gun safety classes, my husband would take them to the range, but as it stand they are still young and impulsive. They would never be able to touch a gun in our home since ours are stored properly in a safe, and in a room that the kids don’t even access to. However they have been taught what to do if they ever see a gun at someone’s house or a friends tries to show them one.  [/quote]
