College Board phone service person who finally picked up didn’t know the criteria, so i asked for someone who did know, she gave me a case number and told me someone would be in touch in 4-5 business days.  Which is of course too late to do anything about it.  The person also said all decisions were made by the test center so who knows.  [/quote]

Yep. It is a perfect system in which none of the parties involved in offering the test have any accountability, but the families of kids trying to take the test are getting screwed at every turn.

College Board: "I'm sorry, we don't control the test sites. Those decisions are made independently at the sites."

Test Site Administrators:  "We canceled too late for you to register for another test? Well, we have absolutely no control over the registration process. Try to find an site open for another date."
