I'm not the PP you quoted, but at our MD daycare even though they are at reduced capacity, the rooms are not full. My sons room has a maximum allowed of 15 (including the teachers), and there are only about 8-9 kids in the class from what I've counted when they send photos.  [/quote]

Ours too, in VA. A lot of kids haven't enrolled so they are enrolling new kids. I think they're only around 50% capacity now, maybe less.  They are doing temp checks, no parents in the building, teachers wear masks, full time cleaner on staff who is there all day. Kids aren't wearing masks (yet). They are starting a Kindergarten class. I really hope enrollment goes up...They've been wonderful for us for 4+ years and I wouldn't want them to go out of business. [/quote]

Same with our daycare, also in VA.  Parents are allowed to carry infants to the infant room, which is in the very front of the building.  They are not allowed into the room, but instead hand the babies off to one of the infant caregivers.  All other children are escorted back to their rooms by a manager.  I’ve seems some new faces in the last week or two.  I’d say we are at 60-70% capacity right now.[/quote]
