Then you’re an a$$hole. It ain’t your job to police the speed limit. It IS you job to get the hell out of the PASSING lane when someone wants to, you know, PASS. Just move over, let them pass, and get back in the left lane if it’s that important to you. [/quote]

No obligation to do that until it is safe and convenient to do so. Expecting others to swerve out of your way so you can endanger everybody on the road is juvenile and asinine. You want rigid and disciplined traffic, go drive the Autobahn, not the Parkway. [/quote]

Correct. If you’re already moving substantially faster than the traffic in the right lane and there’s no where to pull in there, you’re under no obligation to speed up. The left lane is for passing, but it doesn’t belong to anyone. Speed demons think everyone else should have to hit the brakes and get behind the painters van doing 45 just so they can drive 90 mph and never have to hit the brakes. [/quote]
