Just curious? It takes no time to make homemade foods. Even yogurt can be easily made for less and it's healthier and you can control the quality of ingredients. I don't understand why anyone would buy a frozen waffle or granola bar.
This is not true at all. We make our own yogurt, and applesauce, and icecream. Cook from scratch most of the time, especially pancakes and waffles, etc. But it takes time, it takes skill to do well, and it takes planning for ingredients. Processed food is easier, it's convenient, and lots of healthy ones can be purchased as well. I mean, we buy plain yogurt in a tub a lot of the time, and it's no healthier than what we've made at home (also, how are you culturing your yogurt without a store bought starter?) Why do you care what others do or how they choose to spend their time if they even have free time?
Agree, not true. It takes me 1 hour to make, cook, and clean up after waffles or pancakes. It also takes quite some time to make applesauce, potatoes, etc. I don't always have the time and I think many times my child would prefer I spend time playing with them or reading to them instead of spending 3 hours cooking each day. OP, I can't wait to see what topics you come up with on here as your kids get older.
