Op - first its ok to be anxious and kind of dread this. It was unexpected and there are many unknowns in the world right now. You wouldn’t be human if you didn’t have those feelings. No guilt. I recently had #4 who was a big surprise. After wrapping my head around it and getting excited, Covid turned the world ups wide down my 7th month of pregnancy and I had no idea how it was going to go. The hospital was so okay - they are doing it all to keep everyone safe. No maternity ward breakouts yet. Dr visits are also okay. Pediatricians are taking utmost care. My of my end of pregnancy OB appts were virtual. I got a BP cuff and scale and reported weekly to my dr. No complications tho so it was easy. I’m half positive I had Covid in January when it wasn’t known in US. All the symptoms and I ended up hospitalized twice to check my breathing and blood clots, and I was 5mos pregnant. All okay tho, just never been sicker. But many moms have been totally ok even when diagnosed with Covid. Thousands of babies born over the last 6+ months and okay. He’s now 10wks and so chill. My age gap is 7 years and my oldest just turned 12 and I’m 41. I felt a little old to be pregnant but age is just a number :) I have to believe I got pregnant at this time for a reason and he’s going to be so a beautiful bonus for our kids. It’s not easy tho. I even got pregnant in northern Italy where Covid hit so hard, so it’s a little full circle to me and I think there is a reason for it all. I also had DR and went to PT for it. I’m sure at some point I will go back to PT. My body is hurting more this recovery, but I’m trying to make my mental state stronger. Get some online therapy if you need, or meds if you need. Know what you need to stay strong for this one. It could be a long pregnancy.
OP here. Thank you so much PP 💜💜 I’m starting to get excited :D
