Hi everyone, I’m just looking for reassurance and to learn from your experiences. I found out I was pregnant two days ago. We weren’t planning it so I’m finding it very difficult to process. A bit of background. I have a 4 year old and a 5 and a half year old. They are twenty months apart. I had my first when I was 32 and my second just before I turned 34. We are at a stage where things are finally getting easier. I am freaked out for so many different reasons: 1) Have no idea what it’s like to be pregnant during covid. What are doctor visits like and will my husband be able to be with me during delivery? 2) the age difference between my second and third will be huge. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing. 3) I have a diastasis from second delivery and mild urinary incontinence. I have done physically therapy but it only has marginally improved. I still pee when coughing hard but otherwise fine. As for my diastasis, it got much better (I’ve been doing physical therapy for a year and a half... only started two years post partum) and I stopped shortly with covid. Because of the stress from work and having my kids at home, I haven’t been doing my exercises and my diastasis is back. Worried that I will have pelvic floor issues again 4) I know so many women have children in their late 30s but I feel so much older. 5) I had post partum anxiety with both kids until maybe 6-7 months post partum. It got dramatically better after but honestly I still had anxiety until about a year ago. My first needed surgery at 2 months and had a breathing issue until she was one years old. My second had major acid reflux and had to be on two different medications to get it under control. We finally got to the right dosage when she was 5 months but until then she was screaming in pain all the time. 6) Really stressed out on how I will cope with pregnancy, having kids at home cuz of covid and working all at the same time. Mt husband does a lot but it’s still tiring. I had major nausea during both pregnancies that lasted for maybe 5 months and then i was so tired I would go to sleep at 8 pm
