Tonight after dinner I said something to her which should not have started an argument but it did. Words were said and then she lunged at me and started hitting me. I managed to push her off and she stopped hitting me. My child saw the whole thing and tried to get in the middle. I’m still shaking.

My sister lives in Europe and I want to send her to live with my sister. She also has a place of her own in our home country. I do not want her to get sick and die of COVID however. Given the situation, I’m willing to take some risk and I can’t afford to pay for a separate place for her to live here in the US.

Would you given the recent violence put your parent on a plane to Europe in the next two to three days?
