I think the recommendation is to quarantine for 14 days if you have been exposed. Not if you've been exposed to someone who has been exposed.
So Team A should quarantine
And player A's family should quarantine
But assuming Team A's family members weren't hanging around at practice, siblings and other family members don't need to quarantine
Likewise, Player A's classmates need to quarantine, but not the classmates of everyone on Team A.[/quote]
