I think some people spend more time in their imagination and have a richer inner dialogue than others. Flashing images of: Your child getting hit by a car Your child dying in your arms Freak accidents/brain injury Periodically (also flashes of my kids as wildly successful men, as regular guys with a happy day to day life and a family, as athletic stars, as losers with greasy hair, as academic stars, as greasy-haired geeks, ETC) Thoughts of: This is too good to be true, this won’t last, we are being set up for heartache. Hold this moment, might not come again Never. I did have thoughts like that when I was a kid growing up, though. There's nothing wrong with you OP, unless you find your thoughts troubling, or you are actually anxious about them. Maybe consider them passing flights of fancy?[/quote]
