Au Pairs are legitimate— they come over primarily for education and cultural exchange under the J1. Families offer housing and the au pair agrees to provide childcare (a set # hours a week) for a stipend. It works well for almost every family I’ve known use an au pair service...[/quote] Au pairs aren't nannies, I didn't mean them above. [/quote]
