We’re not blaming anyone. We feel pretty good about where we are sending our kids. Seems to be outsiders (aka trolls) who have the issues.

But what I really don’t understand is the moralistic judgment that our society has begun to obsess over. I believe A, you believe not-A. Fine—we’re not trying to force you to do/believe/conform to A, we’re just more comfortable with A than B. You want to do B? Good for you.  That’s freedom of choice and conscience.

But despite the fact that you are forcing me to pay for your choice of B, that’s not enough. You also want to take away my choice of A because you don’t agree with it. That’s not freedom of choice OR conscience.

And it’s not just schools, it’s every damn issue in society today. And this is the most damaging thing you can do to the fabric of this country, to the detriment of the citizenship as a whole and the safety of the entire world.  It’s not debating to find our way forward as a society, it moralizing towards new Salem witch trials, every single day. If you don’t agree with me, you’re just wrong, and I’ll dehumanize you to feel better about myself.  It’s both sides of the political isle too.

So perhaps you should spend some time in front of the mirror.  I’m comfortable in front of mine.  And happy Father’s Day.[/quote]
