I think most people feel bad about the bad things they do. I think heaven is not a physical place, but a state of being. Same with Hell. I think people could exit a Hell by repenting. Anyone there wants to be. Even Satan. Due to his pride, Satan would rather rule Hell than serve in Heaven. God gave us free will. I think our souls contain that will and not our bodies.
