Hilton Head is very sanitized. Myrtle Beach is quite interesting and there is a lot of variety to be had. It is much shorter drive. Myrtle Beach has a very tiny boardwalk. The beach itself is great. Myrtle Beach is a bit less trashy than OC. The popcorn shrimp, hush puppies and sweet tea are great in Myrtle Beach.
