Same here. My kids don’t mind it at all. I wonder if some parents give these feelings to their kids. I don’t think it’s normal for kids to feel anxious or depressed when they stay home and watch TV, go for long walks, ride bikes, play games, etc. [/quote]

I know the above PP’s were not being very sensitive (and I really feel for OP whose kid is going through a tough time. Kids who need meds and have supportive therapists can thrive when on the right med! Good luck!) but I do think there is something  to Be said about  parents Setting the tone for their kids around this stuff. Two of my kid’s close friends (7 y/o) are constantly saying things indicating they’re stressed over corona.  His bday was recently and one of them gave him a card that inside simply said “I hope you’re not sick.”  Now we are as transparent as we can be with a 7 year old about this situation,
Even though he’s an anxious kid. But he’s doing totally fine because we are modeling to him that we are fine.  I can’t help but wonder how many houses have the news on all day, etc. [/quote]
