Don't fall into the trap. You have no ability to try out elsewhere, but they have little to no ability to add new players. Tell them you are interested but your situation is in flux and can't yet commit.

Its telling how s----- so many of these clubs are. They should be leveling with their existing customers and explaining that in order for them to stay afloat and keep coaches employed, they'll need to collect some upfront money - which rational people will understand and be willing to follow the club's lead - but, instead, their strategy is to go with scare tactics that your kid is going to be left out if you don't commit and pay.[/quote]
