Arlington is a big club. There are really good girls on the white and blue teams. Remember the blue team beat mclean green and Arlington white. The thing is there are no tryouts right now, Mclean and other clubs will discount them because they are 2nd and 3rd team girls and offers are going out now.

I agree that the teams are likely to stay largely the same.   It is difficult to make a move when there are no tryouts.   However, the composition of the teams has to change because the roster size will increase with transition to 11v11 game.   Arlington will have to make some difficult choices in deciding how to fill the extra spots on the top team without tryouts.  Without the DA badge, Arlington will likely struggle to recruit talent from other clubs so maybe the girls from the 2nd and 3rd teams will get an opportunity to move to the top team.   Arlington's top team clearly regressed last year, getting outplayed by both VSA (a feeder club to VDA) and Loudoun in the head to head games.  I think VDA will be the team to beat in this age group.   Arlington, McLean and Loudoun are likely to be in the next tier, assuming that they will retain most of their players and don't add top players from other clubs.     [/quote]
