The term isn't the problem.  It's innumeracy and scientific illiteracy, coupled with fear.  Let's just say the society as a whole has taken a big step down in terms of intelligence, ambition, courage, and many other qualities.  It's not just a lot of our leaders.  It's the citizenry who put them in there.  Dumb dumb and really dumb, along with wealthy, spoiled, imperial and entitled.[/quote]
