The aides quit and this left my friend who has a fourth month old baby and is breast feeding to solo care for her father. So she has left her three year old, her four month old, her mother and her husband at her house together and moved in with her father to care for him.

But she needs help! She is worn out, cannot move him in bed without help, and she is anxious to get herself tested (and/or quarantine herself for 14 days) so she can get back to her baby.

Money isn’t a massive concern but most care agencies say they don’t have anyone willing to help anyone Covid + or people don’t show up for work. She is in Washington DC (near Columbia Heights) and would love as much help as anyone could give or to just talk through options for someone willing to help. (Note: we have looked in to hospitalization and/or returning to the care facility but neither are options now as he isn’t sick enough for hospital care and the facility would take him back at this point.)
